PHL Consulate General in Vancouver Participates in Asian Studies Day Celebration at Langara College, B.C.

08 February 2018 VANCOUVER – Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver joined eight other Asian Consulates General and the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in celebrating Asian Studies Day on 06 February at Langara College, one of B.C.’s leading undergraduate institutions providing University Studies, Career Studies and Continuing Studies programs and courses to around 21,000 students annually.
This is the third time that Post has joined the event organized by the Asian Studies Department of the College to provide its students a chance to connect and network with the Consulates while at the same time allowing the latter to see the diversity of students in the College. Students and faculty alike visited Post’s booth with its colorful display of handicrafts and books, brochures and banners on the Philippines. END
