PH Consulate General in Dubai Holds Lecture to Commemorate 22nd National Autism Consciousness Week

12 February 2018 DUBAI – The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai and the Northern Emirates commemorated the 22nd National Autism Consciousness Week on 31 January at the Consulate’s Rizal Hall. Invited to shed light on autism were Dr. Mark Evans, Highly Technical Consultant of the Knowledge, Development, and Human Resource (KHDA), and Special Education Teacher Jofelyn Ramon of Reach Educate Motivate. The lecture aimed to enlighten everyone on the special needs of persons with autism and how society can better engage them by enhancing their capabilities through communication, commitment, and care.
