PHL Embassy Cultural Performing Group Prepares for 2018 Activities in Russia

14 February 2018 MOSCOW – The Philippine Embassy Cultural Performing Group (PECPG) met on 10 February 2018 at the Embassy for their annual planning exercise chaired by Third Secretary and Vice Consul Luningning G. Camoying, Head of the Cultural Section of the Philippine Embassy. The PECPG was established in 2016 as a cultural diplomacy arm of the Embassy. It is envisioned to be an umbrella organization for various performing art groups within the Filipino community in Moscow. At present, the most active is the folk dance ensemble headed by Dr. Cesar M. Dalida as choreographer. One of the Embassy’s priorities for this year is the establishment of a choir group under the aegis of the PECPG.
