PHL Consulate General in Milan Attends Opening of the World Famous Venice Carnival

14 February 2018 MILAN — Representatives of the Philippine Consulate General in Milan and the Philippine Honorary Consulate in Venice joined colleagues from the Consular Corps at the annual Carnivale di Venezia (Venice Carnival) on 10 February 2018. The event was organized by the International Association for the Venice Carnival under the patronage of the Presidency of the Council of Ministries – Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Municipality of Venice in honor of the Consular Corps.

The presence of Milan PCG at the event is significant in further strengthening its relations with the Municipality of Venice, which is in the interest of the sizeable Filipino community in the city and the region of Venice.

It was also an opportunity for Milan PCG to further expand its network with the Consular Corps and look at new possibilities for trade, investments and tourism for the Philippines in the region. END
