19 February 2018 CHICAGO – Philippine Consulate General in Chicago, in partnership with Philippine Honorary Consul Robert Romero, conducted the Consulate’s first Consular Outreach for 2018 in New Orleans, Louisiana on February 10.
Philippine Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin, who assumed leadership of the Philippine Consulate General in Chicago on February 01, led an eight-member team who delivered consular services to more than 300 Filipinos and Filipino-Americans from Louisiana and other Southern and Midwest states. These consular services included more than 300 passport renewals and new applications, notarials, civil registry and dual citizenship. Chicago PCG also registered 235 Filipinos for the 2019 elections in the Philippines.
The team from Chicago PCG was assisted by volunteers from the Kapitbahay of Greater New Orleans and New Orleans Filipino-American Lions’ Club. END
