04 December 2013 – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh successfully conducted its second “Embassy on Wheels” (EOW) in Al-Khobar for the month of November. Held from November 29 to 30 at the Al Jazeera International School in Dammam, the EOW was able to provide consular services to a total of 679 Filipinos based in the area.
The Embassy team, assisted by Filipino community volunteers in the Eastern Region, was able to process 408 e-Passport renewals, seven lost passport applications, 45 passport extensions, 13 Reports of Birth (ROB), 203 notarial applications and three authentication certifications.
The Filipinos who were able to avail themselves of consular services also accomplished 375 client feedback forms, out of 400 forms distributed. The client feedback mechanism is part of the Embassy’s program to improve customer service. The following were the results of the survey:
