PHL Consulate General in Dubai and GMA International Stage Pusong Pinoy sa Dubai

20 February 2018 DUBAI — The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai¸ together with GMA Pinoy TV (GMA International) and Volcano Events, staged on 15 February 2018 the hugely successful Valentine’s Day Presentation titled Pusong Pinoy sa Dubai (The Filipino Heart in Dubai) at the Sheik Rashid Auditorium of the Indian High School in Dubai. Around 1500 people took part in the free Consulate-organized event, intended to remind Filipinos that love for family transcends geographical distance. This is the first ever Consulate event for the Community celebrating Valentine’s Day. Consul General Paul Raymund Cortes encouraged the overseas Filipinos to continue the Filipino brand of love, spreading hope and goodwill to the larger community in Dubai including other nationalities and ethicities. GMA artists Carla Abellana, Aicelle Santos, and Andrea Torres top billed the presentation. The event also featured the couture of up-and-coming Filipino fashion designer Ryan Pacioles, who was one of the new designers introduced at last week’s Dubai Bridal Show at the World Trade Center.
