PHL Consulate General in Dubai at Sinulog 2018: Continue Celebrating Our Heritage

20 February 2018 DUBAI — Dubai Philippine Consulate General Paul Raymund Cortes and Dr. Yasmin Cortes participated in this year’s Sinulog Festival 2018, one of the grandest and most anticipated of the Philippine festivals celebrated by the Filipino community in Dubai on 16 February. Some 3,000 Filipinos  thronged the Alhdaaf Sports Club in Dubai to witness the various activities of the Sinulog. In his address, Consul General Cortes reiterated the strongest support of the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai to the annual commemoration and encourged the crowd to continue celebrating Philippine culture and traditions so that generations of Overseas Filipinos will be reminded of our rich cultural heritage.
