PHL Consulate General in Dubai Welcomes 14 New CPAs

20 February 2018 DUBAI — Dubai Consul General Paul Raymund Cortes (standing, center) led the oath-taking ceremony for 14 new Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) at the Manzi Residences in Dubai on Friday, 16 February. The new new CPAs took their licensure examinations at the SPLBE’s (Special Professional Licensure Board Examinations) held annually in Abu Dhabi by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). Consul General Cortes challenged the new professionals to continue the reputable brand of the Filipino professional, further strengthening their image in the global community and encourged them to be partners and collaborative engagers with government and the rest of the overseas Filipino community by helping disseminate important information to the public on new government financial rules and regulations such as the Train Act.
