BioTech CEO Summit at Philippine Center in New York Tackles Industry Developments

20 February 2018 NEW YORK – A Biotech CEO Summit Investor Night Panel and Networking session took place at the Philippine Center in New York on 13 February 2018.

With a focus on “What’s Next in Healthcare Investment,” the panel discussion included innovators in the Biotech and Life Sciences Industry including Robert Beckman of Orgenesis, Bradley Robinson of Predictive Technology, Bill Farley of Sorrento Therapeutics, Cameron Durant of Humanigen, Eric Steager of Independence Blue Cross Ventures, and Laura Lande-Diner of Flagship Ventures.

The Bio CEO Summit was brought together by Andrea Bartzen, Founder of IMPACTIVE BioConsult and produced by Karen Gamba of Ellipsis, LLC. The event was supported by Harry Dublinsky and John Pennett of EisnerAmper and sponsored by Jerry Sibal and Edwin Josue of the Explore Islands Philippines and JS Productions. Associated sponsors included: Freyeur and Trogue and the New York City Economic Development Corporation (EDC) represented by its Vice President Eleni Janis who shared information about the EDC’s Life Sciences Initiatives.

Guests at the event were welcomed by Philippine Consul General Theresa Dizon-De Vega who spoke about BioTech and Healthcare opportunities in the Philippines.

On a related topic, the Philippine Trade and Investment Center in New York in cooperation with the Philippine Consulate General will hold a Health Information Management Systems (HIMs) Forum on 26 February 2018 at the Philippine Center, New York. END
