PHL Consul General in NY Meets Rhode Island Congressman

22 February 2018 NEW YORK — Philippine Consul General in New York Ma. Theresa B. Dizon-De Vega met with United States Congressman David Cicilline of the 1st District of Rhode Island at his district office in Pawtucket on 20 February 2018.
Consul General De Vega and Congressman Cicilline discussed the general bilateral relations between the Philippines and the U.S., as well as issues ranging from immigration to health matters that concern the Filipino-American community in his district.
The Consul General also invited Congressman Cicilline to join the US-Philippines Friendship Caucus in the US Congress.
Also present during the meeting were the Consulate General’s Political Officer Consul Arman R. Talbo and Mr. Roger Suchite, Assistant Director of the Office of Congressman Cicilline. END
