23 February 2018 TEL AVIV –The Philippine Embassy in Israel released the first ten-year validity passport on 19 February 2018 to the first claimant, Mr. Danilo Visperas Ocampo, 54, a resident of Ramat Hasharon who is originally from Dagupan City, Philippines. He expressed his joy in receiving the new passport, stating: “Excited ako, napakaganda ng pagkakagawa ng design ng passport, nakaka-excite na 10 years na. The Embassy reported a significant (152%) increase in the volume of passport applications since the implementation of the 10-year validity passport issuance.
