Consul General Jamoralin Meets Chicago FilCom Leaders

26 February 2018 CHICAGO — Philippine Consul General in Chicago Gina A. Jamoralin met with the Filipino-American Community leaders in Chicago at the Consulate General on 22 February 2018.
FilCom leaders representing around twenty (20) organizations from the community, business sector and local media attended the meeting and raised questions regarding updates on the Philippine economy, the ongoing voter registration, and the upcoming 12th Ambassador’s Tour.
Consul General Jamoralin delivered a brief message outlining some of 2018’s priority projects aimed at increasing the Consulate General’s engagement with the younger generation of Filipino-Americans and the business community. The FilCom leaders welcomed the Consul General warmly and introduced their respective organizations and advocacies.
Consul General Jamoralin emphasized the importance of cooperation and commitment between the Consulate General and the fast-growing Filipino community in the Midwest. END
