26 February 2018 VIENNA — Permanent Representative of the Republic of the Philippines to the United Nations and other International Organization Ambassador Maria Cleofe R. Natividad formally presented her letter of credentials to Dean and Executive Director Martin Kreutner of the International Anti-Corruption Academy in Laxenburg, Austria on 21 February 2018.
Ambassador/Permanent Representative Natividad assured Mr. Kreutner of the country’s sincere commitment in actively supporting the Academy’s programs and activities. She highlighted that addressing and preventing corruption is a high priority of President Rodrigo Duterte’s administration.
The productive discussion between Ambassador Natividad and Mr. Kreutner involved possible avenues of cooperation between the Academy and the Philippines.
The Philippines ratified the Agreement establishing the International Anti-Corruption Academy as an international organization on 29 June 2011, one of the earliest countries to do so. END
