Philippine Ambassador to Turkey Maria Rowena Mendoza Sanchez meets with the Filipino Community Leaders in Istanbul and gave a short briefing about the accomplishments and developments of the Philippines in 2017. She discussed the possible activities of the Embassy for 2018 and 2019. First Secretary and Consul Lorena Joy P. The Philippine Embassy Team in action during the month consular mission in Istanbul. The Embassy attended to more than 300 consular clients with 64 passport applications, one recapture of biometrics, 1 travel document, 1 lost passport, 82 passports released, 20 notarial services, 2 reports of birth, 1 request for Legal Capacity to Contract Marriage, 57 Embassy ID applications received with 48 Embassy IDs released, 2 NBI applications, 10 POEA-related inquiries and 5 Assistance-to-Nationals (ATN) cases.
