Filipino Community in Cairo Launches Basic Patternmaking and Basic Sewing Course

02 March 2018 CAIRO — The leaders of the Filipino community in Cairo in coordination with the Philippine Embassy in Egypt, organized an advanced skills training program open to all Filipinos working and residing in Egypt. The goal is to provide them with an opportunity to learn new skills to give them alternative livelihood options.
The Basic Pattern making and Basic Sewing course started on 09 February 2018 at the Sentro Rizal Cairo. Ms. Fauziah Obesa, a Filipina dressmaker based in Cairo conducted the training.
The module on basic patternmaking will run from 09 February to 02 March 2018, while the basic sewing module will run from 09 March to 06 April 2018. END
