PHL Embassy in Norway Conducts Consular Outreach Services and Overseas Absentee Voting Registration in Helsinki, Finland

Consular applicants for processing and enrollment of biometric data and, overseas absentee voting registrants.

05 March 2018 HELSINKI – The Philippine Embassy in Oslo conducted on February 16 to 19 a consular outreach service and Overseas Absentee Voting Registration in Helsinki, Finland, in cooperation with the Philippine Consulate General in Helsinki and the Filipino Community.

The consular team processed at least three hundred ePassport applications, civil registrations, and provided notarial and authentication services. The team also processed applications of Filipinos wishing to register as Overseas Absentee Voter through the Philippine Overseas Absentee Voting Act (RA 9189).

The outreach in Helsinki is the first of the Embassy’s 2018 series of consular outreach services in the Nordic region. END
