PH Participates in 22nd Thai International Travel Fair

05 March 2018 BANGKOK — Philippine Ambassador to Thailand Mary Jo A. Bernardo-Aragon and other Embassy officials attended the opening ceremony of the 22nd Thai International Travel Fair held on 07 February 2018 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. The event was graced by Mr. Pongpanu Svetarundra, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.
Dato Melissa Ong, Director for Marketing for Malaysia and Thailand of the Philippine Department of Tourism (DOT), set up a Philippine exhibition booth at the Travel Fair. Aside from offering Philippine tour packages, DOT provided samples of Filipino food such as halo-halo, maja blanca and lechon kawali. Visitors at the Philippine exhibition area were also entertained by Philippine dancers/participants from Bacolod. END
