Consul General Inducts New Officers of North York Pinoy Athletic Association

Philippine Consul General Rosalita S. Prospero inducted the newly elected officers of the North York Pinoy Athletic Association (NYPAA) on March 03 at the St. Peter and Paul Banquet Hall in Scarborough. The association’s main objective is to enhance traditional Filipino values of respect, trust and camaraderie. The association aims to promote athletic activities as a more productive means of spending leisure time for parents and their children and provide a channel for Filipino-Canadian families to spend quality time together while fostering active lifestyles through sports.
