More Than 150 OFWs Avail of Embassy Mobile Registration Services in Antelias, Mount Lebanon
Philippine Embassy, POLO and OWWA personnel assist OFW registrants in Antelias, Metn District of Mount Lebanon Governorate.
06 March 2018 BEIRUT – The Philippine Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon continued to expand its registration and mapping activities in the country after successfully conducting another Embassy identification card (ID) and overseas voters’ registration outreach for the Filipino community in Antelias, Mount Lebanon Governorate on March 04.
Representatives of the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) were also on hand to deliver services to the Filipino community.
Antelias and the surrounding areas of the Metn District in the Mount Lebanon Governorate host a large community of OFWs, the vast majority of whom are household service workers who only have days-off on Sundays. END
Around 150 members of the FilCom benefited from the registration activities.
