PHL Consul General Meets President of Chicago Council on Global Affairs

07 March 2018 CHICAGO – President of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, Ambassador Ivo Daalder, hosted a breakfast meeting on February 20 at the Council headquarters in downtown Chicago and invited newly-arrived Philippine Consul General Gina Jamoralin and the Consuls General of Lithuania and Czech Republic.

Ambassador Daalder welcomed Consul General Jamoralin to the organization and expressed hope to continue the close cooperation between the Philippine Consulate and the Chicago Council on Global Affairs on areas of mutual interest. He also briefed the consuls general on US foreign policy, immigration and the upcoming activities of the Council.

The Chicago Council on Global Affairs is an independent, non-partisan organization that provides insights on critical global issues and American foreign policy. Founded in 1922, it brings together leaders in business, government, education and experts to provide analysis and solutions and to offer a platform for public discourse between leaders, experts and the public on these critical issues.
