PHL Consulate General to Promote PHL Business Opportunities and Culture in Kansas

07 March 2018 CHICAGO – Philippine Consulate officials met with Ms. Carol Wei, Founder and President of Mid-American Asian Culture Association (MAACA) to discuss Philippine participation in the 2018 Asia Business Summit to be held at the Overland Park Convention Center on May 10-11.

Co-hosted by MAACA and World Trade Center Kansas City, the event will include an international press conference with other participating Asian countries. Philippine Consul General Jamoralin also expressed interest in making a presentation on investment opportunities in the Philippines to CEOs of Kansas-based companies.

The Asian Cultural Festival on May 12 is likewise an opportunity to showcase Philippine culture and tourism. On the sidelines of these events, Consul General Jamoralin will meet and dialogue with the State and City government officials and the Filipino community in Kansas. END
