PH Permanent Mission Welcomes Students from the PH to the Winter Youth Assembly at the UN

12 March 2018 NEW YORK - Ambassador Teodoro L. Locsin Jr., Permanent Representative of the Philippines to the United Nations attended the opening ceremony of the “21st Session of the United Nations Youth Assembly” held from February 14 to 16, 2018 at the UN. Filipino young leaders from the Youth Assembly Group, headed Ms. Louise Mabulo, and Siklab Pilipinas, represented the Philippines at the event. Ambassador Locsin also received the delegates at the Philippine Mission and provided them a briefing on the work of the Philippines at the UN, in particular, the role of the youth in attaining the “2030 Agenda on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).” The UN Youth Assembly is the largest and longest-running conference developed from the Friendship Ambassadors Foundation’s cultural exchange programs aimed at cultivating youth development.
