PHL Ambassador Attends International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR) 2018 Opening Ceremony

12 March 2018 ABU DHABI – Philippine Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Constancio R. Vingno, Jr. attended the International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR) opening ceremony on 06 March 2018 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), Abu Dhabi.

The eighth edition of ISNR, under the theme ‘Because Homeland Security is Everyone’s Concern’ was set to run from 06 to 08 March 2018. ISNR 2018 was opened by His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

Attendees to the official opening ceremony witnessed a live demonstration of a crisis situation that highlights the horrors and effects of terrorism to civilians and to communities. It also featured the UAE’s capabilities in responding to crisis situation including disaster relief services, emergency and medical aid, and search and rescue.

ISNR is an international platform that showcases the latest innovations and an opportunity to learn best strategies and practices in resilience, prevention and response to ensure national protection. The event connects regional government bodies, homeland security and law enforcement officers, professionals and potential buyers with international security solution providers and manufacturers.
