Consul General Jamoralin Meets with Indonesian Counterpart

12 March 2018 CHICAGO – Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin called on her counterpart from the Republic of Indonesia, Consul General Rosmalawati Chalid, on 08 March to build on the engagements and activities successfully conducted in celebration of the ASEAN Golden Jubilee last year.

The two officials discussed ways of enhancing cooperation and camaraderie among the officers and staff of the ASEAN consular missions in Chicago while sustaining efforts to heighten public awareness of ASEAN in Chicago and the Midwest.

With the same ASEAN spirit of friendship and cooperation, she also looks forward to working together more effectively on shared goals of promoting people-to-people and official relations with the states within their common jurisdiction.

The Indonesian Consulate General covers 13 states, while the Philippine Consulate General currently has 16 states, pending the reopening of the Philippine Consulate General in Houston. END
