DOLE Conducts Regional Tour in the Gulf to Access Labor Conditions in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Qatar

13 March 2018 DOHA —  A DOLE delegation, headed by Undersecretary Ciriaco A. Lagunzad III, visited Qatar on 7-9 March 2018. The visit to Qatar was the last leg of DOLE’s regional tour in the Gulf to assess the labor conditions of OFWs in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. During the visit to Qatar, DOLE officials met with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, the association of foreign recruitment agencies, and the Filipino community. The officials also visited one of the labor cities in Qatar. DOLE officials call on Ambassador Allan L. Timbayan on 7 March 2018.  From left are OWWA Deputy Administrator Brigido J.
