Heroes of Marawi Welcomed by PH Consulate in HK

13 March 2018 HONG KONG — Consul General Antonio A. Morales (center in red tie) and the Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong personnel warmly welcome the heroes of the Marawi conflict headed by (standing on Consul General Morales’ left) Brigadier General William Alunday, Colonel Filimon Radam and Colonel Generoso Ponio, during the Consulate’s flag lowering ceremony on 1 March 2018. More than 100 officials and members of the Philippine Armed Forces who fought during the Marawi conflict were in Hong Kong for a much-deserved trip, as announced by President Rodrigo R. Duterte last year, after months of battle in Marawi.
