Embassy Personnel Motivated to Meet Public Expectation

13 March 2018 OTTAWA — The Embassy of the Philippines in Ottawa, headed by Ambassador Petronila P. Garcia, conducted a training workshop on “Promoting Values Towards Better Government Service” under its Personnel Continuing Education Program (PCEP). The workshop, facilitated by Deputy Chief of Mission Francisco Noel Fernandez III, allowed Embassy personnel to understand the strengths and weaknesses of their respective personalities before the participants listened to the motivational speech given by Dr. Rick Rigsby on “Make an Impact.” The workshop concluded with a reading and analysis of C.P. Cavafy’s poem entitled “Ithaca” as read by movie personality Sean Connery. The workshop took advantage of publicly-available resources using the Embassy’s information technology resources and event facilities. END
