PH ConGen LA Launched 12th Ambassadors’ Tour in San Diego

13 March 2018 LOS ANGELES — The Philippine Consulate General and the Philippine Department of Tourism in Los Angeles in partnership with Globe Telecom, Inc. and The Filipino School in San Diego launched the 12th Annual Ambassadors’ Tour in San Diego, California. This follows the Tour’s earlier launches in Los Angeles and Houston, Texas.
The Tour is scheduled to take place on 09-15 July 2018, featuring top destinations in Manila, Cebu and Bohol.
About 60 guests, which included National City Mayor Ron Morrison and Councilmember Jerry Cano, friends from the media and members of the Filipino-American Community, attended the launch.
In his welcome remarks, Honorary Consul Audie De Castro informed the audience that this year’s Tour is close to his heart since the Consulate General in Los Angeles takes the helm of organizing the annual event.
In his remarks, Consul Ambrosio Brian Enciso III encouraged the audience to join the Ambassadors’ Tour and spread the good news about the Philippines.
Tourism Director Richmond Jimenez presented the overview of the Ambassadors’ Tour’s basic packages while Vice Consul Dyan Kristine Miranda Pastrana introduced the features of the website.
