PHL Embassy in Oman Welcomes the Newly-Constituted Board of Directors of the Filipino Community Social Club

13 March 2018 MUSCAT — Second Secretary and Consul Bernadette A. Mendoza administered the oath-taking of the newly-constituted officers of the Filipino Community Social Club (FILCOSOC) on 09 March 2018.

FILCOSOC is the only Filipino community organization that is duly registered with the Ministry of Social Development of Oman, and is the umbrella organization of other affiliated Filipino community groups.

Consul Mendoza extended the compliments of Philippine Ambassador to Oman Narciso T. Castañeda to the new set of officers of FILCOSOC and encouraged the group to continue working harmoniously for the benefit of the OFWs in the Sultanate.

On the same day, Consul Mendoza also conducted the Training on Protocol and Program Management for the newly-constituted FILCOSOC Board of Directors (BOD). END
