Consular Mission to Palau for 2018
14 March 2018 AGANA – The Philippine Consulate General in Agana, Guam completed its first of two consular outreach missions programed for Filipinos in Koror, Palau in 2018. The consular outreach mission, which was held from 28 February to 2 March at the Palasia Hotel Conference Room, processed a total of 425 consular transactions, including 306 overseas voters registered. The consular team processed a total of 412 passport-related services, 2 civil registrations, 8 legalization services, and 3 visa applications. Voter Registration Machine (VRM) operator Mr. Ferdinand E. Villamor (seated in blue shirt) registered 306 new overseas voters in Palau while they waited for their turn to avail of consular services. The number of new voters registered in Palau was 204% of the 150 estimated new registrants.
A consular client pays the applicable fees for services availed of during the first of two consular missions to Koror, Palau scheduled for 2018. A total of 425 consular transactions were completed during the 3-day mission held from 28 February 2018 to 2 March at the Palasia Conference Room in Koror, Palau.
