The resource speakers from the Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population and Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture discussed Myanmar immigration laws and policies, Myanmar labor laws, rights of workers, labor dispute mechanisms, Myanmar culture, traditions and other Do’s and Don’ts for foreigners.

Fellow Filipinos such as Ms. Rachelle Manalo, President of Pilipinas.MM, introduced the Filipino community organization in Myanmar and discussed their past and upcoming activities while Mr. Marlon Dela Cruz, an experienced commuter in Myanmar, also shared some lessons on transportation and commuting.

Third Secretary and Vice Consul Jan Michael B. Gomez briefed the participants on the Embassy’s consular and assistance-to-nationals services. He also encouraged Filipinos to register with the Embassy. END
