Philippine Ambassador Maria Cleofe R. Natividad addresses the assembly as PNAA’s president, Mr. Enrico Roxas, looks on.
19 March 2018 VIENNA – The Philippine Nurses’ Association in Austria (PNAA), one of the biggest Filipino organizations in Austria, held their annual General Assembly at the Embassy’s multipurpose hall. The group also used this opportunity to call on Philippine Ambassador to Austria Maria Cleofe R. Natividad, to apprise her of their activities which are centered not only on elevating the lives of their fellow members and helping out newly arrived nurses integrate into the system, but on how their status can subsequently aid fellow Filipinos back home.
During the meeting, the group narrowed down the recipient of their charity project to either donating to the Philippine General Hospital through its Sagip Buhay Project or contributing to Hospicio de San Jose’s related program.
Ambassador Natividad was quick to congratulate the group on their worthy projects and assured them of support on endeavors that are parallel to those of the Embassy’s in particular, towards nation-building. Ambassador Natividad called on the PNAA to continue their constructive collaboration with the Philippine Embassy in realizing the Philippine development goals contained in “AmBisyon Natin 2040.” END
