PHL Embassy Performs Medical Repatriation of Russia-Based OFWs

The three female Russia-based OFWs suffering from different health conditions have been reunited with their families in the Philippines. On Sunday, 11 March, Ms. Dolores De Guzman and Ms. Lolita Manalo departed Moscow for Manila. On Friday, 15 March, Ms. Jalile Gutierrez left Moscow for the Philippines. All three repatriates expressed their gratitude for the various forms of assistance provided by the government. The Department of Foreign Affairs, through the Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant Workers Affairs (OUMWA), regularly performs medical repatriations of OFWs who suffer or are recovering from serious medical conditions.
