PHL Consulate General in Milan Conducts Mobile Consular Service in Modena

23 March 2018 MILAN — Leaders and members of the Filipino Community (Filcom) in Modena and nearby provinces in the Emilia Romagna Region of Italy welcomed the mobile consular service (MCS) conducted by the Philippine Consulate General, Milan (Milan PCG) on Saturday and Sunday, 17-18 March 2018 in close collaboration with the Federazione Associazione Filippine di Modena (FEDAFILMO).

The MCS team rendered a total of 465 consular services including 301 passport-related operations. Meanwhile, POLO/OWWA Milan, SSS and Pag-ibig Fund attended to hundreds of applicants.

In addition to regular services, the MCS team provided advice and counselling to Filipino nationals and was present at a forum of officials of the newly-organized Emilia Romagna Filipino Community, which is composed of organizations from the different provinces of the Emilia Romagna region. The Cultural Section of Milan PCG also organized a showing of Filipino films for the duration of the MCS. 

The MCS in Modena is the second such activity conducted by Milan PCG following the one in Turin on March 3-4 and the first for the Emilia Romagna region this year. END
