PHL Embassy in Rome Conducts Cultural and Financial Literacy Program for Applicants for Dual Citizenship

26 March 2018 — Becoming Filipino. On 22 March 2018, the Philippine Embassy in Rome held a briefing for and distributed information materials on Philippine cultural literacy to dual citizenship applicants at the Embassy Chancery. The activity is part of the Philippine Embassy in Rome’s cultural literacy advocacy program for overseas Filipinos, which aims to inform on the rights and obligations of Filipinos under the Philippine Constitution and the National Heraldic Code.

Learning to Prepare Financially. On 22 March 2018, the Philippine Embassy in Rome held a briefing on financial literacy for dual citizenship applicants at the Embassy Chancery and showed the information video of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas on financial literacy "Paghahanda sa Kinabukasan." During the briefing, the Embassy discussed basic financial concepts and the importance of financial planning to ensure a financially secure future for overseas Filipinos.
