PHL Mission Receives Student Delegates to the 2018 National Model United Nations

27 March 2018 NEW YORK – Student delegates from De la Salle College of Saint Benilde (DLC-SB) and De la Salle University (DLSU) participating in the 2018 National Model United Nations visited the Permanent Mission of the Philippines on 14 and 16 March, respectively, to gain insights on the work of diplomats at the United Nations and on specific issues such as Youth, Counter-Terrorism, Gender Equality, Human Rights and ICT diplomacy among others. Ambassador Teodoro L. Locsin Jr. received the students. He was joined by NYPM First Secretary, Angelito A. Nayan. The students will be simulating the role of diplomats representing a country from The French Republic (for DLS-CSB) and Czech Republic (for DLSU). END
