PHL Consulate General in Dubai Joins IACAD’s Fashunity 2018

03 April 2018 DUBAI – The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai and the Northern Emirates joined the Fashunity 2018, a project of the Dubai Government’s Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) held at Al Mamzar Park, Dubai, UAE on March 22 to 24.

14 different countries, including Spain, China, Colombia, India, Kazakhztan, Krygystan, Mexico, Morocco, Philippines, Poland, Ukraine, Sudan, and Ecuador, participated in the event with the theme “The World of Innovation”. Some local schools and organizations also participated the event. END

The Philippine Consulate booth featured DOT’s Visit the Philippines video presentation, the Barong Tagalog and Filipiniana gowns, and Philippine-made accessories such as bags made of abaca. Adjudged best booth was that of The Philippine School’s.
