Passport applicants from the Filipino community in the South of France during the first day of the Embassy Outreach Mission

03 April 2018 CANNES — The Philippine Embassy in Paris conducted an Embassy Outreach Mission in Cannes, France on March 24-25 to provide consular services to the Filipino community in the South of France. Around 500 Filipinos availed of various consular services such as passport renewals, civil registration, notarials, dual citizenship, and NBI clearance applications. 

During the two-day outreach mission, 111 members of the community registered for Overseas Absentee Voting and the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) based in Geneva, Social Security System Office based Milan/London and Pag-ibig Office based Milan processed a combined 346 applications. 

Ambassador Ma. Theresa P. Lazaro noted the high turn-out of the community during the outreach and the successful partnership of the Embassy with the European offices of POLO, SSS and Pag-IBIG in rendering services to the Filipino community in the South of France. Ambassador Lazaro said "the Embassy will continue to conduct outreach missions in areas where there is a high concentration of Filipinos. This is our pledge to the community."  END
