PHL Consulate General Officers of Chicago Meets Travel Operators and Airline Representatives for the 12th Ambassadors' Tour

Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin and Consul Mel Lalunio Posed a Picture with the EvaAir Representative, Tour Consolidator, and Tour Operator Representatives

03 April 2018 CHICAGO — Consul General Gina Jamoralin with Consul Melchor Lalunio, Jr. had a meeting with the tour operators, tour consolidators, and airline representatives on March 15, 2018 at the Consulate's Kalayaan Hall.

While showing video clips of the previous 11th Ambassadors' Tour to the participants, Consul General Gina Jamoralin narrated what transpired during the Tour highlighting its memorable moments. She also gave the guests an overview of what to expect for the coming 12th Ambassadors' Tour on 9-15 July 2018 that this time has Manila, Cebu, and Bohol for its itineraries. She also explained to the guests the various options that are open to the participants, such as how to extend their stay or going on a side-trip to other places like Davao, Palawan, or Negros with their relatives and friends.

Mr. Mariano Santos, a regular Ambassadors' Tour participant for three years, narrated his experiences like, the tour in Manila which included a side trip to Malacañan where they were served snacks at the Palace. The Tour participants were accorded VIP treatment during the entire tour. The traffic in the City was never felt.  All told, the experiences and memories of the trip entice Ambassadors' Tour participants to come back to the Philippines.

Consul Lalunio enjoined the tour operators to partner with the Consulate in their common mission to promote tourism to the Philippines by offering exclusive rates to the Tour participants.

Eva Air representative Mr. Go and Mr. Liu also announced their intention to provide competitive airfare from Chicago to Manila for the 12th Ambassadors' Tour. END
