PHL Consulate General in Toronto Engages Filipino-Canadian Student Leaders in Toronto

03 April 2018 TORONTO — Consul General Rosalita S. Prospero of the Philippine Consulate General in Toronto hosted a lunch for seven (7) Filipino-Canadian students at Crown Princess Fine Dining in downtown Toronto on March 25. These Fil-Canadian student leaders are current or former officers of various student organizations in their respective universities.
The meeting is part of the Consulate General’s initiative to engage the youth of Filipino descent in promoting the welfare and well-being of the larger Filipino community in Toronto. Consul General Prospero also enlisted their support for the upcoming Ugnayan sa Canada Youth Forum organized by the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) in May 2018. CFO will conduct the Youth Forum to better understand the migration experience of Filipino-Canadian youth and engage them on how to be partners of Philippine development. END
