PHL Consulate General in Dubai Leads Opening of Iconic Razon’s of Guagua

Philippine Consul General in Dubai Paul Raymund Cortes and Dr. Yasmin Cortes, spouse of the Consul General, led the Opening Ceremonies of iconic Razon’s of Guagua at their first overseas branch in downtown Dubai. Located in Karama, one of the two districts in Dubai where most Filipinos reside, Razon’s of Guagua is owned and operated directly by the Razon Family in partnership with a local Emirati businessman. Razon’s is a chain of over 74 restaurants in the Philippines known for its halo-halo and Pampanga cuisines. The opening of Razon’s follows an already rich array of Filipino franchises in Dubai, led by giant Jollibee which has 10 stores around the UAE, Max’s, Barrio Fiesta, Tapa King, and Chowking.
