PHL Consulate General in Milan Observes National Literature Month
06 April 2018 MILAN — In observance of the National Literature Month, the Philippine Consulate General in Milan (Milan PCG) set up an exhibit in the main lobby of its chancery featuring a collection of books from Milan PCG’s Sentro Rizal on April 03. The exhibit was opened with a story-telling/reading of Hating Kapatid and Alpabetong Filipino among Filipino children from Milan and Northern Italy. The young participants of the story-telling/reading session shared their impressions during the open forum after which they were given an opportunity to taste the Philippines’ well-known dried mango snacks.
National Literature Month is one of the activities undertaken by the Consulate to promote, especially among Filipino children abroad, the richness of Philippine literature and the Filipino language. The exhibit will run until the end of April 2018. END
