PHL Embassy in Manama Receives Donation for Embassy Wards

06 April 2018 MANAMA – Mr. John Paul Yanga, event organizer in the Kingdom of Bahrain, donated three (3) Singer sewing machines to the Philippine Embassy in Manama, Bahrain intended for the wards staying at the Embassy’s Migrant Workers and Other Overseas Filipinos Resource Center (MWOFRC). Mr. Yanga turned over the said machines to the Embassy on 03 April 2018 in the presence of Embassy officials and the wards of MWOFRC.
Philippine Ambassador to Bahrain Alfonso Ver thanked Mr. Yanga for his generosity and concern to uplift the welfare and interests of the wards at the Center. OWWA Welfare Officer Precy Flores assured Mr. Yanga and the Ambassador that the MWOFRC will conduct dressmaking and other relevant trainings soon in order to make full use of the sewing machines donated.
