PHL Consul General to Honolulu Calls on U.S. Senator Schatz

06 April 2018 HONOLULU – Philippine Consul General to Honolulu Joselito A. Jimeno called on United States Senator Brian Schatz (Democrat, Hawaii) at the latter’s office at the Honolulu Federal Building.

Consul General Jimeno thanked Sen. Schatz for his sponsorship of bills benefitting the Filipino community.

Sen. Schatz recently co-sponsored with Senator Mazie Hirono, the “Sustainable Fisheries Workforce Protection Act.”

Another recent bill of Senator Schatz is the “Filipino Veterans Fairness Act,” which he co-sponsored with Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska. END
