PHL Consul General Jimeno Calls on Hawaii Congresswoman Hanabusa

11 April 2018 HONOLULU – Philippine Consul General Joselito A. Jimeno called on United States Representative Colleen Hanabusa at the latter’s office in downtown Honolulu on 04 April.

Rep. Hanabusa is a member of the Armed Services Committee, the Natural Resources Committee, and the Science, Space & Technology Committee in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Consul General Jimeno thanked Rep. Hanabusa for the bills she sponsored benefitting Filipino veterans, and her sponsorship of the House version of the “Sustainable Fishing Workforce Protection Act” co-sponsored by Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, and filed in the Senate by Senator Mazie Hirono and co-sponsored by Sen. Brian Schatz. END
