NEW YORK 18 April 2018 – The Philippine Consulate General in New York featured the works of Filipino visual artists Grace Marie Katigbak and the late Dr. Marcelito “Mars” Custodio in an exhibit called Memories of Art at the Philippine Center on 10 April.  The said exhibit runs until 27 April.

Katigbak’s works were flown in from the Philippines and are on exhibit together with the masterpieces of Custodio.

According to Katigbak, it was Dr. Custodio who encouraged her to exhibit her works in New York.  She cited Custodio as one of her inspirations in the visual arts.

Consul Arman R. Talbo, manager of the Philippine Center paid tribute to Custodio.  Custodio served as a former member of the Arts Committee of the Philippine Center.  He also lauded Katigbak’s works.
