ASEAN Committee Heads of Mission in Ottawa Meet with Singaporean Non-Resident High Commissioner

OTTAWA 18 April 2018 — Ambassador Petronila P. Garcia together with other ASEAN Committee Ottawa Heads of Mission (ACO HOMs) met with Singaporean Non-Resident High Commissioner Heng Nee Philip Eng at the Official Residence of the Vietnamese Ambassador in Ottawa on 12 April to discuss Singapore’s ASEAN chairmanship priorities.
Ambassador Eng explained Singapore’s proposed initiatives on innovation and resilience as well as this year’s ASEAN Chairmanship theme, “Resilient and Innovative.”
There are 7 ASEAN member states with diplomatic missions in Ottawa, namely: Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand, and Viet Nam. END
