PH Embassy in Laos Raises Awareness on Women’s Rights Through Art

Filpino artist Joel Ganibe teaches the members of the Lao Disabled Women’s Development Center (LDWDC) and some students basic painting techniques.

VIENTIANE 18 April 2018 – The Philippine Embassy in Lao PDR conducted an art exhibit and painting demonstration during the Lao Disabled Women’s Development Center (LDWDC) Community Bazaar in Vientiane, Laos on 31 March in observance of National Women’s Month and International Day for Women with Disabilities.

The Philippine booth featured the works of Filipino artists including Bernadette Gonzels and Joel Ganibe.  Ganibe facilitated the painting demonstration attended mostly by students. END
