PH Consulate General in HK Conducts Stress Management Talk

Domestic Workers Empowerment Project (DWEP) President and Founder Mr. Miguel Manio discusses the scope of stress management to his audience of more than 70 OFWs in Hong Kong during the “Magtanong Kay Dok: Health Talk on Stress Management” organized by the Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong SAR, in cooperation with the Federation of Luzon Active Groups (FLAG) and Radiant Organization of Amiable Drivers (ROAD)-HK, at the Consulate on 08 April 2018.

HONG KONG 17 April 2018 – The Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong organized a stress management talk for Filipino workers in Hong Kong at the Consulate General chancery on 08 April.  Most of the event’s participants were female drivers.

Consul General Antonio A. Morales emphasized the importance of managing stress especially for OFWs who are far from their families and loved ones.

President and Founder of Domestic Workers Empowerment Project (DWEP), Dr. Miguel Manio, shared with the participants practical techniques on how to deal with stress, diffuse pressure, and regain control.

The event was conducted as part of the Consulate General’s Gender and Development Program. END
